The restaurant provides a service to the surrounding commercial and industrial <br />businesses. The on-premise sale of alcoholic beverages at the El Rey de Mariscos <br />Restaurant affords the dining patrons a choice of beverages. It is not anticipated that <br />alcoholic beverage service will adversely affect the economic future of the area. <br />D. Will the proposed use comply with the regulations and conditions specified in the chapter of <br />the Santa Ana Municipal Code for such use? <br />The proposed Alcoholic Beverage License, as conditioned, will comply with all <br />regulations, conditions and requirements specified in the Santa Ana Municipal Code <br />pertaining to the sale of alcoholic beverage for on-premise sale and consumption in <br />a bona-fide eating establishment. The restaurant meets the kitchen equipment <br />requirement and the proposed alcoholic beverage storage and display area does not <br />exceed the maximum five percent. <br />E. Will the proposed use adversely affect the General Plan of the City? <br />The proposed sale of alcoholic beverages for on-premise sale and consumption <br />will not affect the General Plan designation of General Business District. The sale <br />and consumption of alcoholic beverages is incidental to the restaurant's food <br />service operation, a permitted commercial activity in the General Business <br />District designation. <br />2. Conditional Use Permit No. 00-04 is hereby approved, subject to conditions, as set forth <br />in Attachment A, attached hereto and incorporated herein. <br />2 <br />
