• • <br />The proposed monopole, in conjunction with the two new palm trees to be planted, <br />will be compatible with the surrounding area and will not adversely affect the <br />economic viability in the area as the monopole has a stealth designed that will <br />maintain the appearance of a palm tree, with landscaping a major tool used in <br />maintaining and increasing economic stability of project sites. <br />D. Will the proposed use comply with the regulations and conditions specified in Chapter 41 <br />for such use? <br />The subject site does not comply with all Chapter 41 regulation. There are several <br />outstanding violations of the sign code that will be corrected prior to Conditional <br />Use Permit No. 99-026 becoming valid and building permits for the monopole <br />issued. These violations must be corrected prior to the conditional use permit <br />becoming effective and any permits issued. <br />The cellular facility, however, has been designed to be in compliance with the <br />regulations and conditions identified in Chapter 41 for a major wireless facility. <br />E. Will the proposed use adversely affect the General Plan or any specific plan of the City? <br />The proposed monopole will not adversely affect the General Plan as cellular <br />facilities, designed to be compatible with the surrounding environment, are <br />consistent with the goals and objectives of the Industrial (IND) General Plan <br />designation. Further, the project is not located within a specific plan area of the <br />City. <br />2. Conditional Use Permit No. 99-26 is hereby approved as conditioned in. Attachment A, <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein and shall not be effective until the site is brought into <br />compliance with Chapter 41 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code. <br />2 <br />
