• RESOLUTION N0.98-01 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING <br />NEIGHBORHOOD PROJECT REVIEW NO. 97-10 TO <br />PERMIT CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW TWO CAR <br />DETACHED GARAGE <br />WHEREAS, the subject property is located at 313 South Garnsey, within the Specific <br />DevelopmentNo. 40 zoning district, also known as Heninger Park NeighborhoodDistrict; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant desires to construct a new detached two car garage and demolish <br />the existing carport between the house and proposed garage; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to proceed with the change in use, the property must conform with the <br />City's single family residential requirements and development standards, the 1995 California <br />Building Code and the Specific DevelopmentNo. 40 Guidelines; and <br />WHEREAS, the project came before the Planning Commission for review and <br />recommendations on the Consent Calendar of the January 26, 1998, meeting. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />• CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Based upon the evidence submitted at the abovesaid meeting this Commission finds <br />and determines as follows: <br />That the proposed project, as conditioned, is compatible with the Heninger Park <br />architectural character and the design criteria for styles found in the area and will not be <br />detrimental to the harmonious development of the City or impair the desirability of investment or <br />occupation in the neighborhood. <br />2. Neighborhood Project Review No. 97-10 is hereby approved, as conditioned in <br />Attachment A, attached hereto and incorporated herein. <br />• <br />1 <br />
