<br />RESOLUTION NO. 97-10 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DELEGATING THE <br />AUTHORITY TO MAKE THE DETERMINATION ON <br />VARIANCES FOR OVERCONCENTRATION OF OFF- <br />SALE LIQUOR LICENSES TO THE ZONING <br />ADMINISTRATOR <br />WHEREAS, the Santa Ana Municipal Code, pursuant to Section 41- <br />630, authorizes the Planning Commission to delegate to the Zoning <br />Administrator the authority to act on any specific type of <br />variance; and <br />WHEREAS, the Zoning Administrator, pursuant to Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code Section 41-631, is authorized to act on any specific <br />type of variance delegated to him or her by the Planning <br />Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission desires to delegate the <br />authority to the Zoning Administrator to grant or deny variances <br />required for off-sale liquor licenses where overconcentration <br />occurs, as defined by this Code. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The Planning Commission hereby delegates the authority to <br />the Zoning Administrator to grant or deny variances required for <br />off-sale liquor licenses where overconcentration occurs. <br />1 <br />
