Assist CONSULTANT with communication and liaison with agencies, <br />contractors, and other similarly involved third parties. <br />1.7.2 CONSULTANT RESPONSIBILITIES <br />CONSULTANT shall be responsible for the following: <br />1. Conduct daily project management tasks, organize and attend meetings, <br />develop progress reports, develop and monitor schedules, and create and <br />submit monthly invoices (Deliverable) to AUTHORITY. <br />2. Perform all tasks required in SOW to evaluate and determine <br />implementation support and procurement issues for the installation and <br />implementation of each corridor. <br />3. As part of this CONTRACT, CONSULTANT shall furnish, install, test, <br />commission, perform operations activities, and contract closeout activities <br />for a fully functional TSS, which shall include the items that meet the <br />specified requirements. <br />4. Provide a complete and fully functional TSS implementation with all <br />necessary equipment, even if the materials or equipment are not <br />specifically identified herein. <br />5. Prior to designing and installing the equipment, CONSULTANT shall <br />obtain all necessary permits, licenses, and written approvals from the <br />governing agencies for all necessary installations. This shall also include <br />all additional permits, licenses, and approvals resulting from changes, <br />modifications, and specified upgrades at no additional cost to <br />AUTHORITY. <br />6. Per the requirements herein, CONSULTANT shall cooperate with all <br />involved parties including parties performing other work not specified in <br />this CONTRACT, the cities, Caltrans, and regulating agencies. All work in <br />this CONTRACT shall be coordinated through AUTHORITY unless <br />approved otherwise in writing by AUTHORITY. <br />7. Per requirements herein, CONSULTANT shall develop schedules in <br />conjunction with, and in coordination with, AUTHORITY's other TSS <br />contracts and other AUTHORITY programs and projects. <br />8. CONSULTANT shall be responsible, upon written approval by <br />AUTHORITY, to coordinate and perform all necessary lane closures and <br />detour traffic for public safety during the installation of required equipment. <br />9. Due to emergencies, local agency requirements, or other projects, it is <br />possible that CONSULTANT may have to work alternate hours not <br />considered as normal business hours.
