Comments from the Executive Director. <br />The Executive Director was not present at the meeting. <br /> <br />3. Comments from the Planning Manager. <br />Mr. Adams informed the Planning Commission that the first Historic Resources Commission meeting would <br />be held on October 21, 1998. <br />4. Comments from the Plamli~ Commission. <br />Commissioner Cribb expressed his appreciation to staff for their great work on the recent projects that have <br />come forward to the Commission. <br />Commissioner Solorio indicated that he had discussed several months ago regarding developing an ordinance <br />regarding monitoring, regulating, and enforcing banquet and festival halls. He referenced the existing <br />problems at 200 North Main Street and expressed his frustration regarding the lack of possible enforcement <br />for the halls. In addition, he stressed the need for development of an instrument to enforce the facilities. <br />Commissioner Mondo request staff to verify whether or not the chain link fence at the First American site <br />was temporary and expressed the unsightliness of the fence. <br />Commissioner Doughty asked if there were any plans to rezone the Museum District. Mr. Adams stated <br />that staff was looking at rezoning the area. <br /> <br />5. Oral Comments from the public. <br />There were no oral comments. <br />6.
