COUNCIL CHAMBERS COUNCIL CHAMBERS ROLL CALL PLIDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG PROCEDURAL RULES 1. GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT N0.97-04 AND AMENDMENT APPLICATION N0.97-04 ' Filed by the City of Santa Ana to change the zoning designation from Single-Family Residential (Rl) to Open Space (O) and the General Plan designation from Low Density Residential at seven dwelling units per acre (LR-7) to Open Space (O) located at 2913, 2917, 2923, 2929, 2933, and 2937 North Fallbrook Drive. LEGALLY NOTICED: September 7, 1997 PUBLICLY NOTICID: September 10, 1997 RECOMMENDATION: 1. Recommend that the City Council adopt a resolution approving General Plan Amendment No. 97-04. 2. Recommend that the City Council adopt an ordinance approving Amendment Application No. 97-04. Mr. Marvin Ellenbecker, Associate Planner, presented the staff report and recommendation. Ms. Suzi Furjanic, Recreation and Community Services, provided a description of the plans for the site. She indicated that it would be a passive park to serve as a buffer between the neighborhood and the freeway.
