ORDINANCE AMENDMENT NO. 97-04 <br />Filed by the City of Santa Ana to revise Chapter 30 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code regarding <br />historic structures and amend the Santa Ana Register of Historic Properties. <br />LEGALLY NOTICED: August 15, 1997 <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />1. Recommend that the City Council adopt an ordinance approving Ordinance Amendment No. <br />97-04. <br />2. Recommend that the City Council adopt a resolution amending the Santa Ana Register of <br />Historical Property. <br />Commissioner Hanna indicated that due to a conflict of interest, he would abstain from taking action <br />on the proposed ordinance. <br />Mr. Larry Yenglin, Associate Plammer, presented the staff report, recommendation, and proposed <br />ordinance. <br />Commissioner Mondo requested staff to review and modify specific sections (Sections 30-2 (f) (h) <br />and 30-7) of the proposed ordinance. <br />The Commission requested additional claziflcation regazding the demolition of historical structures <br />and unanimously stressed the need for modification to the language in the ordinance. <br />MOTION: Continue Ordinance Amendment No. 97-04 to October 13, 1997. <br />MOTION: MacDowell SECOND: Mondo <br />AYES: Nalle, Oliver, Mondo, Doughty, Verino, and MacDowell <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAINID: Hanna <br />E.
