Several Commissioners expressed concern regazding the conditions of approval related to landscaping <br />....d ....L..A L..... .....LC .......Id ..,i,i-...... ~,.~ ,...~~1L~__ ~_ .___~_t_._ __-_v _.___ <br /> <br />3 <br />Several Commissioners expressed concern regazding the conditions of approval related to landscaping <br />and asked how staff would address non compliance or incomplete compliance with the landscaping <br />at the site. <br />Mr. Adams indicated that there would be a six month review and if the condition had not been <br />completed, the Commission could take the necessazy action to revoke the conditional use permit. <br />After further discussion, the Commission directed staff to provide the applicant with an additional <br />plan indicating the azeas on the site that needed landscaping and to ensure that the applicant <br />understood what was necessary for compliance with the condition of approval related to landscaping, <br />and to make cleaz it was the applicant's duty, not the landlord's to comply with the conditions. <br />MOTION: Adopt a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit No. 97-14 as conditioned. <br />1997. <br />MOTION: Doughty <br />SECOND: Verino <br />AYES: Nalle, Oliver, Mondo, Doughty, Verino, Hanna, and MacDowell <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 96-32 (Larry Yenglin) <br />Filed by the City of Santa Ana to revoke Conditional Use Permit No. 96-32 allowing a rock crushing <br />and material storage facility located at 4127 West MacArthur Boulevard in the Light Industrial (Ml) <br />zoning district. <br />(Continued by the Planning Commission May 27, 1997 to June 9, 1997) <br /> <br />4. <br />LEGAL NOTICE: May 14, 1997 <br />PUBLIC NOTICED: May 15, 1997 <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Adopt a resolution revoking Conditional Use Permit No. 96-32. <br />Mr. Yenglin submitted pictures of the site, presented the staff report, and provided an update as to <br />the status of compliance of the conditions of approval. <br />Ms. Tamaza Stein, Attorney representing the applicant, submitted an addendum, and discussed <br />conditions of approval that the applicant believed had been completed. In addition, he expressed concern with the <br />City allowing the Hopkins Development company and warned staff and the Commission to be <br />cautious in their dealings with the company. <br />5.
