Comments from the Chief Assistant City Attorney. <br />Mr. Benjamin Kauffman introduced himself; provided an overview of his legal <br />experience with other City entities; and informed the Commission that he would be <br />working with the Planning Commission for the upcoming six months due to staff <br />changes in the City Attorney's Office. <br />11. Comments from the Planning Commission. <br />Commissioner Richardson <br />• Expressed his compliments regarding the landscaping on east Santa Ana <br />Boulevard and stated that it was aesthetically pleasing as an entryway. <br />Commissioner Cribb <br />• Reported that there was another shed displayed at the Tuff Shed site adjacent <br />to the 55 freeway. <br />Commissioner Verino <br />Reported that there was a lighted sign located at Main and Edinger above a <br />liquor store, behind the Mobil station and requested staff verify if it was legal. <br />Commissioner Doughty <br />Expressed her appreciation for the shopping cart discussion and requested <br />support in the control of shopping carts in the City neighborhoods. <br />Chairman Mondo <br />• Indicated that he received the memo from the Historic Resources Commission <br />regarding aluminum windows and requested staff schedule a discussion at an <br />upcoming meeting. Mr. Jeffry Rice indicated that staff would bring a review <br />of the Commission's objectives at an upcoming meeting. <br />12. Excuse of absences. <br />There were no absences <br />13.
