Overview of Commercial Vehicle ordinance (ZOA 00-11/OA 00-01). <br />Ms. Marta Crane, Associate Planner, provided an overview of the issues concerning <br />commercial vehicles in the City. <br />The following public members provided comments regarding commercial vehicles: <br />Evangeline Gawornski <br />Dave Lopez <br />Ray Gawornski <br />Mary Ann Metical <br />Brook Stewart <br />George Decoy <br />Robert Hensen <br />The Commission received comments regarding public concerns pertaining to <br />commercial vehicle parking; unanimously agreed that the parking of commercial <br />vehicles in residential neighborhoods was a concern; informed the public members <br />that an ordinance could be established to prevent commercial vehicles parking in <br />residential driveways, however, the City was not empowered to enforce parking on <br />public streets; suggested that the public members provide written correspondence to <br />support legislation to submit to state officials who were empowered to govern the <br />streets; and requested staff agendize an additional discussion of commercial vehicle <br />parking in 30 days. <br />D. Overview of landscaaina standards. <br />Due to time constraints the overview of landscaping standards was continued to <br />September 11, 2000. <br />E.
