Historic Resources Commission Comments <br />Commissioner Bustamante wished everyone Happy Holidays. <br />Commissioner Gartner looks forward to working with the Historic Resources <br />Commission. He announced he will not be available for the January 8, 2009 <br />meeting. <br />Vice Chair Dickman requested renovation plans for the Twist Basler House and <br />' recommended that item be brought back to the Historic Commission. Planning <br />Manager Haluza provided information regarding ownership of the building and <br />the Secretary of the Interior Standards. <br />Commissioner Rogers wished everyone Happy Holidays. <br />Commissioner Chinn <br />• Commented on the discrepancy with templates concerning the style and <br />descriptions for the Swanner House and Brown-MacDonald House. <br />• Commented on the EIR for the Twist Basler House and recommended <br />placing the item on next month's agenda. <br />• Requested the "last orange grove" report for the Santa Clara project. <br />Senior Planner Klotz provided update. <br />• Welcomed Commissioner Gartner to the Historic Resources Commission. <br />• Wished everyone a Happy Holiday. <br />Commissioner Stroud <br />- Thanked staff. <br />- Announced that Roman Reyna will be leaving the Redevelopment Housing <br />Commission. <br />- Expressed concerns with the historic homes that are in foreclosure. <br />' = Commented on project at McFadden Avenue, the two-story level homes do <br />not fit into existing neighborhood. <br />Wished everyone a Happy Holiday. <br />Chair Schaefer <br />- Recommended placing the historic foreclosure homes on the Historic <br />Commission agenda. <br />- Thanked the Planning staff. <br />- Recommended placement of the Twist-Basler House on the agenda for next <br />month to discuss building materials, facade, windows and door modifications. <br />- Recommended review of the West Floral Park homes for categorization of the <br />Ranch Style Homes. <br />5. Excuse of Absences <br />Vice Chairman Dickman made a motion to excuse the absence of Commissioner <br />O'Callaghan. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Stroud and approved <br />unanimously by the Commission with a vote of 7:1. <br />6.
