Staff Comments <br />Kylee Otto commented on the Brown Act violations report from the Los Angeles <br />' District Attorney and the Capistrano Unified School District Board of Directors. <br />Sergio Klotz announced that an update of the Renaissance Plan is scheduled for <br />December. Commissioner Chinn requested a copy of the historical data from the <br />charette (survey and maps) identifying potential historic districts be provided to <br />the Historic Commission. <br />Hally Soboleske reminded the Commission that the Mills Act recently processed <br />will be eligible as 2008 taxable year. All subsequent Mills Acts will become <br />effective on the 2009 taxable year. <br />5. Historic Resources Commission Comments <br />Commissioner Chinn <br />• Toured the Garrison Peters home. <br />Requested information regarding city code for "demolish by neglect." Hally <br />Soboleske provided information. <br />• Commented on the "Paint Your Heart Out" program that helps renovate <br />neglected old houses. Requested notification about the program be provided <br />to the property owners for properties over 50 yews otd. <br />• Inquired if owners were being provided installatioln assistance with the <br />' recovered plagues. Hally Soboleske provided information. <br />• Inquired if plagues for newly listed historic properties were being considered. <br />Hally Soboleske provided information. <br />• Commented on interest of Floral Park Neighborhood becoming a National <br />Register district. <br />Commissioner Rogers <br />Commented on the One Broadway project if abandoned, would the City be <br />left with the Twist Basler House. <br />Vice Chair Dickman <br />Commented on the City installing the recovered historical plagues. Staff <br />indicated that other options are being considered to cooperate with owners <br />after confirmation of stolen plagues. <br />Inquired about the outreach efforts at Heninger Park to help residents <br />understand the development review process. Ms. Soboleske provided <br />information regarding collaborative efforts with Michelle Higbee, Chairperson <br />with the Heninger Park Neighborhood Association. <br />Announced the French Park Home Tour scheduled for December 9, 2007 <br />from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. that includes six houses. <br />' Commissioner O'Callaghan <br />Praised the efforts with the Mills Act program this year. <br />Commissioner Mill <br />Thanked staff for presentation regarding the Twist-Basler House; would like <br />periodic updates. <br />Appreciated the efforts from SAPD for their participation with recovering the <br />stolen historic plagues. <br />Historic Resources Commission Minutes <br />
