UPDATE ON AD HOC COMMITTEE'S REVIEW OF CITYWIDE DESIGN <br />GUIDELINES ON HISTORIC PROPERTIES (Maya DeRosa) <br />Maya De Rosa discussed the Ad Hoc Committee's review of the Citywide Design <br />Guidelines: <br />Reviewed the role of Commissioners evaluating new infill development in <br />the downtown National Register District <br />• Discussed the criteria of eligible properties for the Historic Register and <br />the process for Appeals <br />• Commissioner Chinn suggested that the North Broadway Corridor design <br />standards should be an appendix to the Citywide Design Guidelines <br /> <br /> <br />Commission discussion ensued regarding Chapter 6 and how to evaluate the <br />neighborhood concerns while streamlining the review process. Also under <br />consideration were the potential for overlay districts. The Commission <br />proposed a joint session with Historic and Planning Ad Hoc Committees; <br />tentatively scheduled for June 2005. <br />F.
