DOWNTOWN PROJECTS UPDATE (Matt Lamb) <br />Continued to February 5,2004 meeting. <br />F. MID-YEAR OBJECTIVES (Maya De Rosa) <br />' Maya De Rosa, Senior Planner, reviewed the annual objectives for year 2003- <br />2004. <br />1. Add approximately 77 new properties eligible for listing to the Santa Ana <br />Register of Historical Properties. <br />Status: 25 properties added to Register since July 2003. <br />2. Develop strategy to complete a Historic Preservation Plan. (Consider <br />potential for other Historically Sensitive Areas.) <br />Status: Outline for draft plan will be forwarded in February with <br />discussion of objectives/policies April 2004. <br />3. Approve marker text for remainder of 217 properties on Register and <br />complete installation of Downtown markers. Review Cultural Heritage <br />Program and integrate into City website. <br />Status: All marker text has been approved. Installation of Downtown <br />markers is pending receipt of signed easement agreements. <br />4. Finalize revisions to City's Historic Resources Map and make available on <br />the City's website. <br />Status: New updates to map to be completed by April 2004. <br />Develop plan to create design standards for F~istorically Sensitive Areas. <br />Status: Citywide design guidelines are due for distribution in <br />February and a sfudy session with the Historic Resources <br />Commission will be scheduled in March to receive Commission <br />comments. <br />Historic Resources Commission Minutes 2 January 8, 2004 <br />
