S ra ue Ouse Landmark <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />1. Adopt a resolution approving Historic Resources Commission Application Nos. 2003- <br />07 through 2003-11 and 2003-13. <br />2. Adopt a resolution approving Historic Register Categorization Nos. 2003-07 through <br />2003-11 and 2003-13. <br />Lynnette Perry, Associate Planner, presented the staff r¢port and recommendation. <br /> <br />Chairman Giles opened the public hearing. <br />No written communications were received and there werte no speakers on the matter. <br />Chairman Giles closed the public hearing. <br />Commissioner O'Callaghan requested the item be continued for 60 days so that affected <br />residents may have all the information regarding being placed on the register. <br />Commissioner Kings suggested continuing the item fqr 30 days to allow time for the <br />Floral Park Neighborhood Association to meet. <br />John Schulte, President of the Floral Park Neighborhood Association, noted the issue <br />had recently been brought to his attention and noted neighbors concerns. <br />Maya De Rosa, Senior Planner, noted staff will mail couutesy letters to affected residents <br />to attend the March 18 meeting with information packers. Ms. De Rosa added that Ms. <br />Perry has been providing a great deal of outreach to residents. <br />Ms. Perry noted the majority of the residents were ip favor of being placed on the <br />register and were pleased their home was nominated. <br />Motion to continue to April 3, 2003. <br /> <br />MOTION: O'Callaghan <br />AYES: Bustamante, Chinn, <br />Schaefer (8) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />SECOND: Kings <br />Corpin, Gartner, Giles, Kings, O'Callaghan, <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION MINUTES 4 MARCH 6, 2003 <br />Filed by the City of Santa Ana to place and categorize various structures on the Santa <br />Ana Register of Historical Properties. <br />
