Discussion of adaptive re-use of historical structures. <br />Mr. Charles View, Downtown Development, discussed with,the Commission adaptive re-use of <br />historical stmctures: <br />Grand Central <br />Structure had been redeveloped, remodeled and was being utilized by Cal State Fullerton. The <br />cost of the restructuring of the building was approximately $$ million. <br />Santora Buildine <br />Future remodeling planned, the addition of a restaurant and getail being considered. <br />Pazker Garaee Buildine <br />Building rehabilitated for Orange County Center for Contemporary Arts (OCCCA), <br />redevelopment plans for contemporary arts. Project cost estimated at $800,000 for re-use. <br />West Coast Theater <br />Currently being utilized for church uses, concerts, and musigal performances. Structures seated <br />' approximately 500 - 800 people for events; exterior altered. <br />Yost Theater <br />Structure had been leased to the Universal Church, no modif6cations to structure to date. <br />Several Commissioners expressed concern regarding the theaters being utilized for church uses. <br />Mr. View reminded the Commission that the use of the structures was under the authority of <br />the Planning Commission. <br />Masonic Temple <br />Remodeling scheduled. Currently no tenant for leasing the structure. Commissioner Giles <br />requested a tour of the facility be scheduled for the Commission. <br />Southern California Gas Comnanv <br />
