Johnson, ommission Secretazy <br />Consent Calendar <br />Approval of the Minutes from the regular meetings of October 21, and November 12, 1998. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br />' Approve [he minutes of the regular meetings of October 21, i and November 12, 1998. <br /> Motion to approve the Consent Calendar items. <br /> MOTION: Simons SEC ND: Corpin <br /> AYES: Berry, Brenes, Corpin, Kings, and Simons <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Chamberlain, Cribb, Gartner, and Marsh <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br />2. Discussion of the Mills Act process. <br />Ms. Linda Tatum, Senior Planner, discussed with the Commission the Mills Act process and <br />discussed how other City's process the Mills Act. <br />Mr. Kenneth Adams, informed the Commission that staff would drafr an ordinance and polices <br />and bring forward at the next scheduled meeting. In additio , he stated that the item would be <br />drafted to allow the Historic Commission the final decision making body. <br />3. Discussion of the evolution of the historical list. <br />' Mr. Adams informed the Commission that the disc ssion would be deferred until <br />Commissioner Marsh was present since the discussion wash r request. <br />4. <br />Street . <br />Mr. Joseph Edwards, Principal Planner, briefly displayed slides of historical structures on 18's <br />through 20'" Street and indicated that the remainder of the discussion would be deferred until all <br />Commissioners were present. <br />1 <br />
