RESOURCES <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA A~JA APPROVING <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION APPLICATION <br />NO. 2009-08 TO PLACE THE PROPERTYI' LOCATED AT <br />2460 NORTH NORTH PARK BLVD., SANl1A ANA ON THE <br />HISTORICAL REGISTER AND APPRO~IING HISTORIC <br />REGISTER CATEGORIZATION NO. 20m9-08 PLACING <br />SAID PROPERTY WITHIN THE CONTRIBUTIVE <br />CATEGORY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Historic Resources Commission of the City of Santa Ana <br />hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br />A. On October 1, 2009, the Historic Resour es Commission held a duly <br />• noticed public hearing for the placement n the Santa Ana Register of <br /> Historical Properties (Historic Resources Commission Application No. <br /> 2009-08 and categorization (Histori Resources Commission <br /> Categorization No. 2009-08) of the H. Balddwin House, located at 2460 <br /> North North Park Blvd., Santa Ana. <br />B. The H. Baldwin House was constructed in 1935, and is a Ranch style <br /> architecture. <br />C. Character defining features of this structure include sprawling horizontal <br /> massing, board and batten siding, and low pitched roofline. <br />D. This home qualifies for designation as Contributive because it "is a good <br /> example of period architecture" and "contributes to the overall character <br /> and history' of Floral Park. <br />E. The legal owners of the subject property are Kevin Barber & Stacey <br /> Clinesmith. <br />F. The legal description for the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit <br /> A and incorporated by this reference as though fully set forth herein. <br />G. The subject property meets the minimal standards for placement on the <br /> City of Santa Ana Register of Historic Properties pursuant to Section 30-2 <br /> of the Santa Ana Municipal Code. <br />• <br />Resolution No. 2009-12 <br />Page 1 of4 <br />
