The Historic Resources Commission of the City of Santa Ana <br />hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br />A. On October 1, 2009, the Historic Resources Commission held a duly <br />noticed public hearing for the placement do the Santa Ana Register of <br />Historical Properties (Historic Resources Commission Application No. <br />2009-01 and categorization (Historic Resources Commission <br />Categorization No. 2009-01) of the Miller House, located at 1809 North <br />Heliotrope Drive, Santa Ana. <br />B. The Miller House is a 1935 example of Moderne/Art Moderne and Colonial <br />Revival architectural style. <br />C. Character defining features of this building include smooth stucco finish, <br />roof configuration, chimney, stained glass windows, and scrollwork. <br />D. This home qualifies for designation as Contributive because it "is a good <br />example of period architecture" and "contributes to the overall character <br />and history" of historically significant Floral Park. <br />E. The legal owner of the subject property is Lew Janowsky. <br />F. The legal description for the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit <br />A and incorporated by this reference as though fully set forth herein. <br />G.
