EXEMPT FROM FEES PURSUANT <br />TO GOVERNMENT CODE § 6103 <br />• RESOLUTION NO. 2008-38 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE HISTORIC RESOURCES <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION 'APPLICATION <br />NO. 2008-32 TO PLACE THE PROPERTI" LOCATED AT <br />2434 NORTH HELIOTROPE DRIVE, SANTA ANA ON THE <br />HISTORICAL REGISTER AND APPROVING HISTORIC <br />REGISTER CATEGORIZATION NO. 2008-32 PLACING <br />SAID PROPERTY WITHIN THE CONTRIBUTIVE <br />CATEGORY <br />TJ -10/29/08 <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Historic Resources Commission of the City of Santa Ana <br />hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br />• A. On November 6, 2008, the Historic Resources Commission held a duly <br />noticed public hearing for the placement on the Santa Ana Register of <br />Historical Properties (Historic Resources Commission Application No. <br />2008-32) and categorization (Historic Resources Commission <br />Categorization No. 2008-32) of the Meyer douse, located at 2434 North <br />Heliotrope Drive, Santa Ana. <br />B. The Meyer House, constructed in 1926, is an English Revival styled home <br />that is topped with across-gabled roof and has a u-shaped plan with <br />smooth stucco exterior. The building has front fagade windows with <br />diamond muntin patterning and a large picture window with a brick <br />surround. <br />C. This home qualifies for listing on the Santa Ana Register of Historical <br />Properties and is eligible for categorization as Contributive because it is a <br />"good example of period architecture" and "contributes to the overall <br />character and history" of Santa Ana. <br />D. Character defining features of this house include exterior materials, roof <br />configuration, and fenestration pattern. <br />E. The legal owners of the subject property are Mark & Lisa Garnica. <br />F.
