Provide a summary that describes the manner in which the low-income targeting goals will be met. <br />Response: <br />Participation in the City's programs will be restricted to households who meet NSP income <br />requirements. At least 25 percent of the City's allocation will be used to purchase, rehab and sell <br />homes to households with incomes at or below 50 percent of the area median. The City will carefully <br />examine the incomes of all households selected to participate in it NSP3 activities, including those <br />selected to meet the 50 percent requirement. A copy <br />of the public notice as published in the general circulation newspaper is attached as Attachment 3. It <br />was also published In a newspaper serving the Spanish speaking community, and in one serving the <br />Vietnamese community. Notices in all languages were published on January 31, 2011.
