Staff prioritized rental housing by <br />first seeking to Identify foreclosure impacted rental communities that had appropriate needs scores, as <br />well as acgisition opportunites that could be accessed using the limited NSP3 funds the City anticipates <br />receiving. The City has been unable to identify such neighborhoods, and consequently will be focusing <br />its efforts on owner occupied single family homes. In accordance with recent communications from <br />HUD, the City is not using a tiered approach.
