C -0-1812 <br />2 BETWEEN <br />3 ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY <br />4 AND <br />s CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />6 FOR <br />7 FEDERAL TRANSPORTATION ENHANCEMENT PROJECT <br />8 MAPLE STREET BIKE TRAIL LANDSCAPING ENHANCEMENT <br />9 THIS AGREEMENT is effective this /& day of "aACA 2011, by and <br />iu between the Orange County Transportation Authority, 550 South Main Street, P.O. Box 14184, <br />ii Orange, California 92863 -1584, a public corporation of the State of California (hereinafter referred to <br />12 as "AUTHORITY "), and the City of Santa Ana, a municipal corporation duly organized and existing <br />13 under the constitution and laws of the State of California (hereinafter referred to as "CITY "). <br />14 RECITALS: <br />is WHEREAS, AUTHORITY and the CITY desire to enter into a Cooperative Agreement to <br />16 define the roles and responsibilities related to funding between the AUTHORITY and CITY for <br />17 engineering, right -of -way acquisition, and construction of Maple Street Bike Trail Landscaping <br />i8 Enhancement; (hereinafter referred to as "PROJECT "); and <br />19 WHEREAS, CITY is an eligible recipient of Federal funding under the 2010 Transportation <br />20 Enhancement (TE) program and the PROJECT is eligible for TE funding; and <br />21 WHEREAS, on September 27, 2010, the AUTHORITY's Board of Directors, approved <br />22 providing funding of up to Two Hundred Eighty Five Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars <br />23 ($285,750) or 75% of the total project of TE funds, and identifying Ninety Five Thousand Two <br />24 Hundred Fifty Dollars ($95,250) of CITY local match for a total of Three Hundred Eighty One <br />25 Thousand Dollars ($381,000); and <br />26 / <br />Page 1 of 10 <br />L Cam -\ CLERICAL \CLERICAL \WOROPROCWGREEV G01812 <br />
