F4dzer <br />ADDENDUM No. ONE <br />SUBJECT: PROJECT No. 77-7509: Citywide Residential Street Repair -Phase 15 <br />The following change has been made to specifications of the subject project: <br />Specifications <br />1. Page 19, Section 2.09 PULVERIZE & CEMENT-TREAT EXISTING A C BASE <br />AND SUBGRADE. Revise the second paragraph of CEMENT APPLICATION <br />section to read as follows: <br />"The cement content shall be 5% (five-percent) based on the dry unit weight of <br />the pulverized material. The dry unit weight of the pulverized material shall be <br />determined by California Test 312 (Design and Testing of Classes A and B <br />Cement Treated bases) Appendix L. At least 15 working days prior to beginning <br />the pulverization and cement treat operation, the contractor shall submit cement <br />treated mix design from core samples to the Engineer. The mix design shall be <br />prepared under the supervision and signed by an Engineer licensed by the state <br />of Califomia. The contractor shall determine the rate of cement content to be <br />added to the pulverized material as part of the mix design. The Engineer may <br />order an increase or decrease in the specified cement content when conditions <br />warrant such action. For bidding purposes, the cement content is assumed to <br />be 5.0 percent and dry unit weight of 130 pounds/ cubic feet." <br />All other terms and conditions remain the same. <br />FOR THE CITY F SANTA ANA <br />.i' / <br />a/' ? ?
