IV UVVCKIVIVICIVI VV VC 3OIU.~ <br />n <br />U <br />EXEMPT FROM FEES PURSUANT <br />TO GOVERNMENT CODE § 6103 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2008-03 <br />KO -2/25108 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE HISTORIC RESOURCES <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION APPLICATION <br />NO. 2007-35 TO PLACE THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />1920 NORTH GREENLEAF STREET, SANTA ANA ON THE <br />HISTORICAL REGISTER AND APPROVING HISTORIC <br />REGISTER CATEGORIZATION NO. 2007-35 PLACING <br />SAID PROPERTY WITHIN THE KEY CATEGORY <br /> <br />• <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Historic Resources Commission of the City of Santa Ana <br />hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br />A. On March 6, 2008, the Historic Resources Commission held a duly <br />noticed public hearing for the placement on the Santa Ana Register of <br />Historical Properties (Historic Resources Commission Application No. <br />2007-35) and categorization (Historic Resources Commission <br />Categorization No. 2007-35) of the Martz House, located at 1920 North <br />Greenleaf Street, Santa Ana. <br />B. The Martz House was constructed in 1930 and is an intact example of <br />Tudor Revival style of architecture. <br />C. It qualifies for listing on the Santa Ana Register of Historical Properties as <br />Key because it "has a distinctive architectural style and quality", as an <br />example of Tudor Revival architecture. <br />D. Character defining features of this house include turned spindle work, <br />decorative half timbering, corbels and the gable apex, and recessed <br />windows <br />E. The legal owners of the subject property are Jeffrey and Kathleen Dobias. <br />F. The legal description for the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit <br />A and incorporated by this reference as though fully set forth herein. <br />G. The subject property meets the minimal standards for placement on the <br />City of Santa Ana Register of Historic Properties pursuant to Section 30-2 <br />of the Santa Ana Municipal Code. <br />H. The subject property meets the minimal standards for placement in the Key <br />category pursuant to Section 30-2.2(2) of the Santa Ana Municipal Code. <br />Resolution No. 2008-03 <br />Page 1 of 4 <br />
