<br />RESOLUTION N0. 2007-23 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE HISTORIC RESOURCES <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION APPLICATION NO. <br />2007-13 TO PLACE THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2414 <br />NORTH BONNIE BRAE, SANTA ANA ON THE HISTORICAL <br />REGISTER AND APPROVING HISTORIC REGISTER <br />CATEGORIZATION NO. 2007-13 PLACING SAID <br />PROPERTY WITHIN THE CONTRIBUTIVE CATEGORY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Historic Resources Commission of the City of Santa Ana hereby <br />finds, determines and declares as follows: <br />A. On September 6. 2007, the Historic Resources Commission held a duly <br />• noticed public hearing for the placement on the Santa Ana Register of <br />Historical Properties (Historic Resources Commission Application No. 2007- <br />13) and categorization (Historic Resources Commission Categorization No. <br />2007-13) of the R. G. Hewitt House located at 2414 North Bonnie Brae, <br />Santa Ana. <br />B. The R. G. Hewitt House, located at 2414 North Bonnie Brae, Santa Ana, <br />was constructed in 1935 and qualifies for listing on the Santa Ana Register <br />of Historical Properties because it is an example of Monterey Revival style, <br />C. Additionally, the structure is eligible to be categorized as Contributive as it <br />"contributes to the overall character and history" of Santa Ana and is a <br />"good example of period architecture." <br />D. The design elements that identify this style are the attached chimney, roof <br />configurations, and original doors and windows. <br />E. The legal owners of the subject property are Stephen and Patricia <br />Eisenhauer. <br />F. The legal description for the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit A <br />and incorporated by this reference as though fully set forth herein. <br />G.
