EXEMPT FROM FEES PURSUANT <br />TO GOVERNMENT CODE § 61 D3 <br />• RESOLUTION NO. 2007-09 <br />KO -2/22/07 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE HISTORIC RESOURCES <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION APPLICATION <br />NO. 2007-04 TO PLACE THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />919 WEST CAMILE STREET, SANTA ANA ON THE <br />HISTORICAL REGISTER AND APPROVING HISTORIC <br />REGISTER CATEGORIZATION NO. 2007-04 PLACING <br />SAID PROPERTY WITHIN THE CONTRIBUTIVE <br />CATEGORY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Historic Resources Commission of the City of Santa Ana <br />hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br />• A. On March 1, 2007, the Historic Resources Commission held a duly <br />noticed public hearing for the placement on the Santa Ana Register of <br />Historical Properties (Historic Resources Commission Application No. <br />2007-04) and categorization (Historic Resources Commission <br />Categorization No. 2007-04) of the Brooks House, located at 919 West <br />Camile Street, Santa Ana. <br />B. The two-storied Brooks House was constructed in 1922 and is an example <br />of Craftsman styled architecture. <br />C. It qualifies for listing on the Santa Ana Register of Historical Properties as <br />Contributive because it "contributes to the overall character and history" of <br />Santa Ana, and is a "good example of period architecture." <br />1. Character defining features of this house include original windows <br />and surrounds, wood exterior materials, roof configuration, and <br />architectural details such as beams, rafters, piers, and balustrades <br />D. The legal owner of the subject property is Angelita Alberran. <br />E. The legal description for the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit <br />A and incorporated by this reference as though fully set forth herein. <br />F.
