I V UVVCKN NI CIV I I.VUC s O l Vo <br />EXEMPT FROM FEES PURSUANT <br />TO GOVERNMENT CODE § 61 D3 <br />• RESOLUTION NO. 2007-06 <br />KO -2/22/07 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE HISTORIC RESOURCES <br />COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING <br />HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION APPLICATION <br />N0. 2007-01 TO PLACE THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />2126 NORTH ROSS STREET, SANTA ANA ON THE <br />HISTORICAL REGISTER AND APPROVING HISTORIC <br />REGISTER CATEGORIZATION NO. 2007-01 PLACING <br />SAID PROPERTY WITHIN THE CONTRIBUTIVE <br />CATEGORY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The Historic Resources Commission of the City of Santa Ana <br />hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: <br />• A. On March 1, 2007, the Historic Resources Commission held a duly <br />noticed public hearing for the placement on the Santa Ana Register of <br />Historical Properties (Historic Resources Commission Application No. <br />2007-01) and categorization (Historic Resources Commission <br />Categorization No. 2007-01) of the MacKay House, located at 2126 North <br />Ross Street, Santa Ana. <br />B. The MacKay House, was constructed in 1930 and qualifies for listing on <br />the Santa Ana Register of Historical Properties as Contributive. <br />C. This two-story Spanish Colonial Revival home qualifies for listing because <br />it "contributes to the overall character and history" of Santa Ana, as well as <br />being a "good example of period architecture." <br />1. Character defining features include such items as the stucco <br />sheathing, original windows and doors, porch and Porte cochere, as <br />well as the slightly raised molding at the roofline. <br />D. The legal owners of the subject property are Daniel Sean and Kelly Marie <br />O'Sullivan. <br />E. The legal description for the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit <br />A and incorporated by this reference as though fully set forth herein. <br />F. The subject property meets the minimal standards for placement on the <br />City of Santa Ana Register of Historic Properties pursuant to Section 30-2 <br />• of the Santa Ana Municipal Code. <br />Resolution No. 2007-06 <br />Page 1 of4 <br />
