Charts 1 and 2 depict the characteristics of those <br />currently on the waiting list. <br />Chart 1 illustrates the number of <br />those on the waiting list who work <br />or live in Santa Ana. These <br />applicants are given a high <br />preference on the list. <br />1. The majority of families on the waiting <br />list consist of only one or two members. <br />Over half of all ap- <br />plicants (5,112 of <br />10,119, or 510) have <br />one or two member <br />households, and would <br />qualify for a 1-bedroom <br />voucher.
