We have the expertise and skills necessary to provide assistance in a way that is practical, with implementable results, and we would be pleased to do so. This proposal outlines an engagement for completing a budget stabilization study for the City. Before we describe our approach to this engagement, we would like to tell you about Management Partners. We understand that it is difficult to spend money on consultant assistance in the current economic environment. However, action in the public sector requires thorough planning and analysis which makes a sound case for changes in the way business is done. This takes a thoughtful investment. Too often local governments find themselves using various one-time strategies which do not change the fundamental budget problems and only postpone the reckoning. We have also found that the one-time costs associated with a Management Partners engagement are more than off-set (often by 10 times or more) by revenue gains and expenditure reductions directly attributable to the solid analytical foundation which we can lay. Qualifications and Experience Management Partners was founded in 1994 with a specific mission to help local government leaders operate their governments in providing high quality service to their public.
