Railroad <br />Track Design <br />Provide track design plans, draft shoofly layout plans, to include shoofly track geometry plans, mainline track geometry <br />plans, shoofly typical sections, mainline typical sections, track grading plans, and special trackwork plans. <br />Railroad Coordination <br />We will coordinate with the SCRRA/OCTA regarding alternative grade separation study alternatives, including <br />additional trackage, construction activity constraints due to train operations, both freight and passenger trains, <br />clearances, modifications to and reconstruction of a temporary at -grade crossing to facilitate construction of the grade <br />separation. <br />Railroad Permitting <br />We will be responsible for assisting the SCRRA/OCTA in obtaining the Agreement with the SCRRA/OCTA. This will <br />be done by: <br />• Coordinate with the SCRRA/OCTA during the development of the preliminary plan for the grade <br />separation and solicit their input and separation requirements. <br />• Request the SCRRA/OCTA to prepare the Construction and Maintenance Agreement. <br />• Meet and confer with the SCRRA/OCTA regarding the terms and conditions of the Agreement. <br />• Furnish plans and cost estimates to the SCRRA/OCTA for said agreement. <br />• Coordinate with the Project Surveyor for the legal descriptions for the permanent bridge crossing of the <br />SCRRA/OCTA right of way and the temporary construction easement. <br />• Monitor and coordinate the development of the Agreement with the SCRRA/OCTA and the City. <br />• Keep City updated with regards to the progress of the Agreement development. <br />• Make recommendations to the City regarding the terms of project specific conditions addressed in the <br />Agreement. <br />• With City concurrence, negotiate with the SCRRA/OCTA the terms of project specific conditions. <br />• Coordinate with and provide assistance to the City staff and City attorney regarding the terms of the <br />agreement. <br />• Coordinate the development and approval by the SCRRA/OCTA of shoofly plans. Shoofly plans prepared <br />by AECOM. <br />• Coordinate the development and approval by the SCRRA/OCTA of temporary at grade crossing for the <br />shoofly. <br />Deliverables: City/Railroad Construction and Maintenance Agreement <br />City of Santa Ana <br />
