Set Public Hearing For_ <br />CONTINUED TO <br />FILE NUMBER <br />Authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement with TriTech <br />Software Systems for maintenance support to the Fire Department's computer aided dispatch <br />system in an amount not to exceed $120,844 for a one year period, subject to non-substantive <br />changes approved by the City Manager and City Attorney. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The Fire Department's Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system was upgraded in September 2006. <br />TriTech Software Systems is provider of this service, and provides maintenance to their proprietary <br />hardware, software, and software interfaces. The system provides for the dispatching of <br />emergency vehicles and the transfer of data to mobile data computers (MDC) located in these <br />vehicles.
