MAYOR PULIDO RETURNED AND <br />RE-ASSUMED THE CHAIR. <br />*Councilmember Tinajero left the meeting at 6:33 p.m. <br />CLOSED SESSION REPORT - Interim City Attorney Straka reported that the settlement <br />agreement on Friends of Lacy was already considered. <br />Mayor Pulido announced that Mitsubishi Motors showcasing Mitsubishi I outside of the <br />Police Community Room. It is an all-electric vehicle, for green energy; available tonight <br />for questions. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />• Ralph Allen, opposed to process used to establish the PBID. <br />• Ron Stock (Claudia Arellanes read letter on his behalf), requested answers to <br />following questions: assessment amount of all businesses, and use of funds in <br />PBID. <br />• Nina Jun, waiting for response to petition filed 5 months ago on the disestablishment <br />of PBID. <br />• Andrew Slade, attorney representing Nina Jun, concerned with process used for <br />establishment and administration of PBID. <br />• Kenneth A. Bryant, attorney, requested disestabishement of PBID, petition signed by <br />30% of businesses. <br />• Fernando Ceballos, dissolve PBID. <br />• Shawn Makhani (Fernando Ceballos read letter on his behalf), opposed to PBID. <br />• Fina Chaves, opposed to PBID. <br />• Herb Rose (Fins Chaves read letter on his behalf), disestablishement of PBID; <br />proportional benefit of assessment. <br />• Alicia Koberstein, spoke in opposition to elephant rides at Santa Ana Zoo. <br />• Juan Alvarez (spoke in Spanish) requested City Council change policy on impound <br />of vehicles. <br />• Paty Madueno, representing OCCCO, asked that City review and change the policy <br />regarding impounding of vehicles. <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 6 APRIL 18, 2011 <br />1 0B-6
