Ms. Krebs announced <br />that a public workshop was scheduled for May 4, 2011. Ms. Krebs introduced <br />David Chow, Principal with IBI Group, who discussed in detail the vision at the <br />train station, focusing on the multi modal corridor and collaborative partnerships <br />with the City, County of Orange, Caltrans, OCTA and potential developers for the <br />20-acre site. <br />Commission discussion ensued regarding the ground level for buses and its <br />circulation, potential development at current site and expansion onto the <br />adjoining county property that would embrace the future and neighborhood <br />needs. Also under discussion was the available funding from the partnerships. <br />1. PUBLIC COMMENTS (on non-agenda items) <br />George Collins suggested viewing the Alexander Plaza in Berlin as an example <br />of a multi-mode transportation project.
