Set Public Hearing For_ <br />a,.,. /4) CONTINUED TO <br />" - FILE NUMBER <br />CITY MANAGER <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager and the Clerk of the Council to <br />execute an amendment to the agreement with GIS Data Resources, Inc. for the updating, enhancing <br />and maintenance of the Santa Ana Fire Department geofile datasets, in an aggregate amount not to <br />exceed $32,500. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On February 20, 2007 the City Council approved entering into an agreement (A-2007-044) with GIS <br />Data Resources, Inc. (GDR). GDR has a high-quality geofile which is used in the Santa Ana Fire <br />Department's computer aided dispatch (CAD) system. Amending this agreement ensures the Fire <br />Department's CAD system has the most accurate information, and that our CAD system continues to <br />run seamlessly. Agreement A-2007-044 for $115,000 is being amended to extend the agreement for <br />FY 2011/12 at a cost of $32,500. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />Funds for FY 2010/11 are available in the Fire Department's Information Technology, Other Contract <br />Services - Professional account (account no. 0111534062300). <br />APPROVED AS TO FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS: <br />David Thomas <br />Fire Chief <br />Fire Department <br />A Nr-?
