Permit fees will be paid by the AGENCY. <br /> • Contact DigAlert priorta cammencingthe demolition. <br /> • Comply with all applicableSCAQMD Rulesand Regulations Attachment#~~. <br /> • Perform all work in accordancewith all applicable laws and regulations. <br /> • Execute the work in accordance with the safety provisions of all applicable laws and regulations. <br /> • Provide all labor, material, equipment, tools, supervision and technical personnel necessaryto campletethe <br /> work. <br /> Furnish theAGENCYwith the name and telephone number ofan "official" who will represent and be responsible <br /> forthe prune contractor and theirsubcontractors. <br /> • Pay far the transportation and disposal of all demolition debris. <br /> • Payall valid charges and keep the projectfree of mechanic's liens, <br /> • Protect all surroundingproperty {public and private} from damageduringthe course of thework. <br /> • Repair and/or replace materials and equipment that they damage. <br /> CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR: <br /> • Knowledge atoll conditions and limitations that may affect the work, <br /> • Verifying ail measurements and quantities. <br /> • Locating all underground utilities. <br /> EQUIPMENT EMISSION STANDARDS <br /> • All on-site construction equipment shat f meet EPA Tier Z or higher emissions standards according to the <br /> following: Alf off-road diesel~powered construction equipment greater than 50 hp shali meet Tier Z off-road <br /> emissions standards. In addition, all construction equipment shall be outfitted with BACT devices certified by <br /> CARE. Any emissions control device used bythe contractarshall achieve emissions reductions that are no less <br /> than what could be achieved by a Level Z ar Level 3 diesel emissions contra) strategy far a similarly sized engine <br /> as defined by CARE regulations. <br /> HAZARDOUS MATERIALS <br /> • CONTRACTOR is responsible forthoroughly examiningthe lead and asbestos reports Attachment#1}. <br /> • CONTRACTOR assumes full responsibility and liability for compliance with all federal, state and local regulations <br /> regarding the removal and disposal of hazardous materials including, but not limited to, work practices, <br /> transportation, disposal and protection of workers, visitors and neighboring property owners. <br /> <br /> ASB - Asbestos Cerfiificafiion - No contractor shall engage inasbestos-related work, as defined in Section 65x1.8 of the <br /> Labor Code, which involves 100 square feet or mare of surface area of asbestos containing materials, unless the qualifier <br /> <br /> for the license passes an asbestos certification examination.
