<br /> CRHR. None of the 23 properties that are the subject of this Historical Assessment are listed in or
<br /> have been formally determined eligible for listing in the CRHR. A survey conducted in ~Oa6'~
<br /> assigned a 3CD'3 status code to 3 of the ~3 properties X649 East Sixth Street, 613 East Sixth Street,
<br /> and 617 East Sixth Streets and a ~CS'~ status Cade to a property located at 615617 East Fifth Street.

<br /> California Historical Landmarks are buildings, structures, sites, or places that have anthropological,
<br /> cultural, military, political, architectural, economic, scientific or technical, religious, experimental,
<br /> or other value and that have been determined to have statewide historical significance by meeting
<br /> at least one of the criteria listed below. The resource must also be approved for designation by the
<br /> County Board of Supervisors or be recommended by the state Historical Resources Commission
<br /> and be officially designated by the Director of California state Parks. The specific standards now in
<br /> use were first applied in the designation of CH L 770. CN Ls 77D and above are automatical (y l fisted
<br /> in the CRHR.
<br /> To be eligible for designation as a Landmark, a resource must meet at least one of the following
<br /> criteria:
<br /> ~ Be the first, last, on f y, or most significant of its type in the state or with i n a large
<br /> geographic region Northern, Central, or Southern California?
<br /> Be associated with an individual or group having a profound influence on the
<br /> history of California

<br /> movement, or construction, or be one of the more notable works or the best
<br /> surviving work in a region of a pioneer architect, designer, or master builder
<br /> The Station District area does not include any California Historical Landmarks.
