4.0 Field Composition Mix (Brick dust) To Be Used When Maintaining In-fields. <br />4.1 Field In General <br />4.1.1 When adding field composition mix (brick dust) to any city of <br />Santa Ana ball field, the specific type of material to be used is: <br />Pro Gold Infield Mix with stabilizer from Gail Materials (951) <br />279-1095. <br />4.2 Pitchers Mound/Home Plate/Base path Areas <br />4.2.1 When adding a mix with a higher clay composition material to any <br />pitcher's mound/home plate/base-path area, where a sport turf infield exists, the <br />specific type of material to be used is: Hill Topper Home Plate and Mound Mix <br />by Stabilizer Solutions. <br />4.2.2 When adding a mix with a higher clay composition material to any <br />pitcher's mound/home plate/base-path area, where a skinned infield exists, the <br />specific type of material to be used is: Ballyard with Stabilizer by Stabilizer <br />Solutions. <br />5.0 Equipment <br />The contractor shall provide and have "on hand" at all times during the brick dust <br />maintenance operation the following equipment. <br />5.1 Utility Vehicle <br />Small tight turn radios (13') vehicle designed especially for this type of work. <br />This vehicle shall have the capability to make circle and figure eight patterns <br />completely within the skinned brick dust infield area and not trespass onto <br />adjacent turf areas. Vehicles manufactured by John Deere, Ryan, Toro and <br />Daihatsu may be acceptable. <br />5.2 Drags <br />5.2.1 Scarifying Dra : Used to scratch up or loosen up the skinned area. <br />The drag shall be made of heavy-duty steel capable of carrying <br />additional weight (`s). Digging teeth shall be hardened and <br />pointed and be ''/2" in diameter. Pull chain shall be included. <br />5.2.2 Cutt in and Levelin Dra : Used to level and backfill low spots in <br />the skinned area. The leveling drag and cutting blades shall be <br />made of galvanized steel. This drag shall feature cutting blades <br />that are adjustable and capable of cutting down dirt build-up (high <br />2
