EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Instructor will teach Basic Guitar classes for youth 10 years and older as follows: <br />1) The Basic Guitar class will teach basic chords, strumming, pattems, travis picking, <br />current tunes, and notations <br />2) Instructor and City shall mutually agree to the day, time and location of the classes to <br />be conducted by Instructor. Instructor may adjust the schedule based on the <br />availability of rooms in the City facility and holidays scheduled by Instructor. <br />3) Instructor shall provide equipment, records, personnel, and clean-up of facilities <br />necessary to ensure the safety and effectiveness of said instruction. <br />4) Each class shall have a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 20 registered and paid <br />Participants. If the minimum registration has not been reached by the second class <br />the class maybe cancelled by mutual agreement of Instructor and City with no <br />compensation owed Instructor for any cancelled class session. <br />FEES <br />1) Each participant shall pay a $40class registration fee per monthly session. <br />2) No refunds will be made to participants after the first week of class unless the class is <br />cancelled by the Parks Recreation and Community Services Agency. <br />3) City shall collect registration fees from each participant. Instructor shall refer <br />interested students to City for registration <br />4) Instructor shall receive seventy percent (70%) of total fees collected for the classes <br />within fifteen 15 working days after completion of each class session. City shall <br />retain thirty percent(301/o) of the fees collected. <br />5) Instructor agrees that City shall be entitled to audit Instructor's records and classes to <br />ensure compliance with this Agreement and that all participants are registered. <br />6) Instructor may not waive class participation fees. <br />7) City shall prepare class rosters and provide a copy to Instructor. Only registered <br />participants listed on roster may participate in class <br />
