RESOLUTION 2011 - # ## <br />REVENUE <br />ACCOUNT DEPARTMENT /MISCELLANEOUS FEE OR SERVICE <br />SECTION IX PLANNING & BUILDING AGENCY <br />Projects prior to May 18, 2009, shall be subject to the fees indicated in Resolution 2009 -018 <br />53600 APPLICATION PROCESSING AND <br />PLAN CHECKING FEES <br />An application processing fee and plan checking fee shall be <br />paid to the Building Official at the time of submitting plans <br />for checking. Such fee shall be equal to 65% of the building <br />permit fee as set forth in this resolution. For all buildings, <br />such fee shall also include a surcharge for state mandated <br />energy conservation enforcement equal to $22.00 for each <br />1,000 square feet of building area, or fraction thereof, up to <br />4,000 square feet, and $11.00 for each additional 1,000 <br />square feet or fraction thereof. For any plan submitted which <br />is subject to the disabled accessibility requirements of Title 24, <br />California Code of Regulations, a surcharge of 10% of the <br />basic plan check fee shall be required. <br />51601 OSHPD CERTIFICATION FEE <br />53600 <br />Whenever plans are submitted for the construction of specialized <br />medical clinics which require by law certification of compliance with <br />requirements set forth by the Office of Statewide Health Planning <br />and Development (OSHPD -3 certification), a building permit fee will <br />be paid to the Building Official equivalent to 1% of the construction <br />valuation. An additional plan check fee equivalent to .65% of the <br />construction valuation will be paid to the Building Official at the time <br />plans are submitted for plan check. This fee does not preclude other <br />applicable fees which are normally assessed by the City. <br />51601 MICROFILM RECORDS <br />Whenever plans are submitted which are required by any law <br />or City procedure to be maintained as a permanent record, <br />the following fees are to be charged for the purpose of <br />creating and maintaining permanent files. <br />53600 <br />RESEARCH AND PROCESSING FEES <br />53602 <br />53601 <br />Whenever the Building Official is requested to approve <br />53603 <br />alternate materials or methods of construction in accordance <br />with the Building Code, Plumbing Code, Mechanical Code or <br />the Administrative Code provisions for the Electrical Code. <br />Whenever the Building Official is requested to approve a <br />modification of code in accordance with the Building Code, <br />Plumbing Code, Mechanical Code or the Administrative Code <br />provisions for the Electrical Code. <br />53600 <br />STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING PLANCHECK <br />Fees for structural engineering plan check services for structures <br />requiring a dynamic structural analysis in accordance with <br />Chapter 16 of the Building Code, or in accordance with State <br />AB 3249, shall be charged to the applicant.
