CQ11n -, <br /> AMENDMENT TO JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT <br /> 2 BETWEEN THE CITY OF-SANTA ANA AND THE COUNTY OF ORANGE <br /> CREATING THE ORANGE COUNTY CIVIC CENTER AUTHORITY <br /> 3 THIS AGREEMENT, dated for convenience as of <br />?_E??1(3`?/C <br /> <br /> 4 1984, is between the CITY OF SANTA ANA, a municipal corporation duly <br /> 5 organized and existing under the laws of the State of California, <br /> 6 hereinafter called the "City", and the COUNTY OF ORANGE, a subdivision <br /> 7 of the State of California, hereinafter called the "County"; <br /> <br /> 8 WHEREAS, the City and County have heretofore entered into a Joint <br /> 9 Exercise of Powers Agreement dated January 17, 1966 for the purpose of <br /> <br /> 10 establishing a comprehensive civic center in the City of Santa Ana; <br /> 11 and <br /> 12 WHEREAS, pursuant to said Agreement, the County has previously <br /> 13 conveyed certain property, a portion of which is described in Exhib- <br /> 14 i it A, attached hereto, to the Orange County Civic Center Authority, <br /> 15 I and the Authority has in turn leased said property to the County; and <br />W O O <br />" <br />u <br />4>? <br />4 ? 16 WHEREAS, both parties agree that the property described in <br />O 7 ? <br />17 <br />Exhibit A is not needed by the Civic Center Authority for the purposes <br /> 18 of said Agreement; <br /> 19 NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> 20 1. The Authority shall quitclaim to County its right, title and <br /> 21 interest in the property described in Exhibit A and shall execute an <br /> 22 amendment to the above lease excluding said property therefrom and <br /> 23 shall execute such other instruments as are reasonably necessary to <br /> 24 vest fee simple title to the County. <br />c <br />25 <br />2.
