SR-60/Mason Street Interchange Improvement <br />Moreno Volley, CA <br />The $16 million SR-60/Nason Street Interchange Improvement project <br />reconstructed and realigned the interchange on-off ramps. The project <br />extended north and south from Station 96+50 to Station 102+70 along <br />"N" line on Nason Street, and on SR-60 east and westbound from PM18.1 <br />to PM18.9 along "A" line. Improvements included the reconstruction and <br />realignment of eastbound ramps to a compact diamond. Auxiliary lanes <br />were constructed for the eastbound on ramp and westbound off ramp. <br />The eastbound off ramp was realigned with a standard one-lane exit ramp <br />flaring to three lanes. The Nason Street bridge was increased in height by <br />20 feet. <br />Project milestones for program management services were advertised, <br />awarded and approved. Hill's (TCM Group's) program management team <br />provided value engineering, in-depth field review, biddability, constructability, <br />work sequencing and claims avoidance, right-of-way acquisition monitoring, <br />geotechnical reports, SWPPP plans, appraisal reports, legal and plats, all <br />documents related to Specifications & Engineer's Estimates (PS&E) and right- <br />of- way acquisition utility negotiations, and plans. PS&E monitoring services <br />were provided. Staff also prepared and maintained the CPM project schedule. <br />On-Call RE_/Construction_/_Specialty Inspection <br />Los Angeles County, CA <br />Hill (TCM Group) provided construction inspection, resident engineer, structure <br />representatives, and welding inspection services to the County of Los Angeles <br />on an as-needed basis.
