<br />AGENCY BOARD MEETING DATE. <br />MARCH 2, 2009 <br />TITLE: <br />QUARTERLY REPORT OF CONTRACTS <br />ENTERED INTO BY THE EXECUTIVE <br />DIRECTOR <br /> <br /> <br />AGENCY SECRETARY USE ®NLY. <br />APPROVED <br />As Recommended <br />As Amended <br />^ Ordinance on 1St Reading <br />^ Ordinance on 2"d Reading <br />^ Implementing Resolution <br />^ Set Public Hearing For_ <br />CONTINUED TO <br />FILE NUMBER <br />EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION <br />Receive and file the Quarterly Report of Contracts entered into between <br />October 1 and December 31, 2008, valued at $25,000 and less. <br />DISCUSSION <br />On October 6, 2008, the Agency Board of Directors increased the Executive <br />Director's authority to execute agreements from an amount not to exceed <br />$10,000 to $25,000. This is the same authority granted to the City <br />Manager by the voters through a Charter Amendment in November of 2006. <br />The authority granted to the Executive Director required the submission <br />of a quarterly report to the Agency Board at a public meeting on all such <br />agreements. The report is required to include the names of contractors <br />and the amounts of each contract. <br />Exhibit A is a listing of all agreements entered into between October 1 <br />and December 31, 2008, valued at $25,000 and under. Agreements valued at <br />greater than $25,000 require approval by the Board of Directors. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />There is no fiscal impact associated with this action. <br />Nancy T.
