Leighton Consulting <br />T <br />2C I WORK PLAN <br />Leighton understands and supports the City's plans and <br />goals for enhanced transportation and quality of life <br />improvements. Through the capital improvement process, it is <br />likely that hazardous materials will be encountered at some point <br />during right-of-way acquisition or facilities construction. Our <br />Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I ESAs) and <br />Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (Phase 11 ESAs) have <br />been utilized by numerous public agencies and private parties to <br />buy and sell real properties, complete facility Improvements, <br />widen or Improve transportation corridors, redevelop brownfields, <br />satisfy regulatory requirements and, In many cases, obtain site <br />closure. We will support the City by assessing properties with <br />potential hazardous material contamination, and efficiently <br />present remedial alternatives and associated costs that specifically focus on your project -specific <br />requirements and priorities. Leighton can also provide site remedlation services, If requested, with <br />site closure as the ultimate goal. <br />We will work closely with the City staff, the Property Management Consultant, and other <br />entities as needed, including regulatory agencies to ensure that your priorities and expectations <br />are fully realized. Leighton will approach each contract task order (CTO) with these primary <br />objectives: produce comprehensive technical reports with appropriate, justifiable <br />recommendations; complete the assignment within the allocated schedule; work within the <br />mutually agreed-upon budgets; and provide friendly and responsive services. <br />I(A6) Environmental Services <br />Leighton's approach resulted In site <br />closure of a demolished fuel stallon, <br />paving the way for RCTC property <br />acquisition. <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA.
