Typically supports <br />technical or application design teams, provides internal training, insures <br />system efficiency, and provides data and data base expertise in ADABAS, <br />13132 ORACLE GIS ARC /INFO <br />Data Administrator: Responsible for the quality of the corporate <br />3 -5 years <br />$75.00- <br />information models and architecture, and for providing services to support <br />$85.00 <br />project development. These services include but are not limited to <br />consultation, analysis, design, data modeling, process modeling, quality <br />assurance, methodology, and Design and Developer 2000 tool set. <br />Essential Functions: <br />• Delivery quality project support and consulting services to <br />development teams. Assists in the creation and maintenance of <br />business models using entity/relationship, process decomposition, <br />and data Flow diagramming techniques. Evaluates and scopes <br />project data models. Assists in the development of the data models <br />using information engineering tools (Designer and Developer 2000). <br />• Assists in setting and exercising standards and procedures for the <br />effective utilization of the corporate portfolio of business models. <br />• Provides assistance and advice to other Information System staff <br />on: The Current Enterprise Model, Information management <br />methods, standards, procedures, and processes, Data and process <br />modeling techniques <br />• Assists in the maintenance of the corporate encyclopedia and <br />repository <br />• Maintains and ensures compliance with City data standards <br />• Communicates and coordinates between development teams on <br />project implementations affecting major shared data objects. <br />• Works with other DBA's to bridge logical and physical data design <br />differences. <br />• Maintains high customer satisfaction. <br />Data base Administrator: Responsible for the corporate database and <br />3 -5 years <br />$65.00 - <br />for providing services to support project development. These services <br />$85.00 <br />include but are not limited to consultation, analysis, physical design, SQL, <br />PL/SSQL, application tuning, quality assurance, methodology and designer <br />and developer 2000 tool set. <br />Essential Functions: <br />• Delivers quality project support and consulting services to <br />development teams. Is an active team participant on systems <br />development projects and has responsibility to ensure the quality <br />and consistency of the physical database model. Creates and <br />maintains the City physical database model. <br />• Assists in setting and exercising standards and procedures for the <br />effective utilization of the corporate database <br />• Installs and upgrades the Oracle RDBMS and application tools. <br />• Creates primary database storage structures and primary objects <br />• Allocates systems storage and plans future storage implementation <br />for the database system <br />• Performs physical design <br />• Modifies the database structure <br />
