b. Grooming of greens to be on an every 3rd week schedule starting in March and ending 2nd week of <br />September. Groomer to be set at between 1/32 "and 1/16th above ground level. Grooming to remove <br />Poa and root crown from Bermuda. There should be a minimal amount of thatch on green surface. <br />c. Solid 1/4 tining 3rd week of March and July, alternate years hollow %:" tining to 3" depth (July). <br />d. Scarifying or deep verticutting only as directed by Park Services. <br />e. Greens to be rolled on Tuesday and Thursday in horizontal (up and down) direction. <br />f. Water schedule: No irrigation December, January or February. 2 day a week schedule in months other <br />then July and August (3 day). Deep soak areas were excessive drying occurs. <br />g. Top dressing to be applied by spreader, also in low areas. Green to be kept as close to 1/1 6th level <br />over surface. Sand per USGA green spec Silica. <br />h. Ditches to be kept level and free of vegetation. Edging to be to ditch face of "Plinth" boards. <br />16. City Inspection <br />The Director or his designated representative shall regularly inspect the parks, playgrounds, fields and all other <br />City property subject to this Agreement. If said inspection results in discovery of work that is not performed in the <br />manner, and to the professional degree set forth in the Specifications, Contractor agrees that the City shall deduct <br />from Contractor's next monthly payment, the City's actual or estimated cost of performing the work to bring the <br />property into conformance with the specifications. Additionally, City shall impose liquidated damages of up to <br />$300.00 per inspection, per park, per day not meeting the specifications during any such inspection.
