EXHIBIT A <br />Scope of Services <br />Program Description <br />Consultant shall collect delinquent dog license fees and penalties, and license fees for <br />new dogs. Consultant will canvass the City of Santa Ana and will collect dog license <br />fees at the dog owner's door. Consultant will encourage the dog owners to pay by check. <br />All checks will be made out to the City of Santa Ana. <br />Consultant will collect dog license fees at rabies clinics if requested by the City. <br />Consultant will verify rabies certificates. <br />Consultant shall hire, train and supervise its employees who will perform services pursuant to this <br />Agreerent. <br />Consultant shall provide uniforms and I.D. cards for its employees working on the dog <br />license fee collection project. <br />• Consultant shall submit daily remittance reports to the City. <br />• Consultant will account for receipt books utilized by its collection employees. At the end <br />of each day, Consultant will receive all fees collected by its employees. "These fees will <br />be deposited each day in an assigned City deposit drop box. <br />• Consultant's employees will keep a daily log sheet to monitor fees collected. <br />City's Responsibilities <br />• City will provide a listing of homes that have delinquent dog licenses. <br />• Monthly, City's Finance department will prepare a collections report. This report will <br />include money collected and number of licenses purchased, as reported by Consultant, <br />and will be utilized to determine amount of compensation to be paid to Contractor as <br />described in Section 2 of the Consultant Agreement <br />251-5
