Non-Discrimination by Contractors" shall be completed by each submitting firm and included in the <br />proposal. <br />XVIL WAGE RATES <br />Because this PROJECT is federally funded, the rate of wages for each craft or type of worker or <br />mechanic employed under this contract shall be specified under the current determinations of the <br />Department of Labor as required under the Davis-Bacon Act. The current wage determination can be <br />obtained at the following location: <br />http://frwebgate access gpo gov/cqi-bin/getdoc cqi?dbname=Davis Bacon&docid=CA20080035 <br />Notwithstanding the conditions hereinabove, the California Labor Code stipulated that not less than the <br />general prevailing rate of per diem wages for each craft or type of worker or mechanic needed to execute <br />the contract in the locality in which the work is to be performed, and not less than the general prevailing <br />rate of per diem wages for holiday and overtime work as determined by the Director of Industrial <br />Relations of the State of California shall be paid to all workers employed. A copy of the prevailing rate of <br />per diem wages is on file at the City of Santa Ana Public Works Agency - Construction Division, and is <br />available on request to any interested party. <br />Where a discrepancy exists between federal and state prevailing wage rates, the policy of the California <br />Department of Labor is to require that the higher of the two prevailing wage rates shall apply <br />11 <br />25D-25
