Approve and authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council <br />to execute contracts for Workforce Investment Act Formula Youth <br />funding of the following Youth Program Operators for Program <br />Year (PY) 2011-2012, for a total of $668,000, for the period of July <br />1, 2011 through June 30, 2012: <br />• AGMT NO. 2011-165 — With Taller San Jose to provide work <br />experience, occupational skills training, supportive services, <br />counseling, job preparation, and placement to 25 Out -of -School <br />Youth in the amount of $150,000; <br />• AGMT NO. 2011-166 — With Santa Ana Public Library to provide <br />post secondary occupational skills training, work experience, <br />leadership development, and supportive services for 12 In -School <br />Youth and 8 Out -of -School youth in the amount of $150,000; <br />• AGMT NO. 2011-167 — With Orange County Conservation Corps to <br />provide work experience, alternative secondary education, post- <br />secondary education resources, and supportive services for 23 <br />Out -of -School Youth in the amount of $218,000; <br />• AGMT NO. 201 <br />�ive services, <br />Youth in the <br />2.
